bathing beauties
Bathing Beauties is a memorial to Nell, my sister, who loved her Australian parrots and parakeets. This birdbath was outside her french doors.

King Parrots
A rare siting of a pair of King Parrots in Nell's trees and a blurry photo, demanded a painting. The way the male is looking at the female, I am tempted to title this one

Beached Boats
Beached Boats was painted in 1974-75 when we lived in a farm cottage near Felixstowe, Suffolk, England. It could have been on the banks of the River Derben. It is bequeathed to my daughter, Gillean, as she remembers the rambles we used to take through this area.
